My name is Jacqueline Spicknell and I am a Production Designer/Scenic Painter in the film industry.
My background started off in the theatre industry, where I gained a BA Hons Theatre Design from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), following a BTEC Diploma in Theatre Design from Wimbledon School of Art.
During my four years in the theatre industry, I was head set designer and head costume maker, designing, building and making my own sets, costumes and props.
Along with this, I was also involved in a number of technical roles ranging from rigger, asm, stage manager and LX operator.
For the past three years I've worked on a wide range of shoots including, feature films, short films, pilot tv episodes and music videos, using my skills and techniques learnt from the theatre and film industry.
I'm an extremely dedicated and hard working team member, going out of my way to design, build, make and source the correct look required for every shoot I work on.
